Dr. Hong is a specialist in the field of Interventional Pain Management. He is ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He grew up in the DFW area, attending grade school, high school and college locally. He began his medical training in the San Francisco bay area for medical school at Touro University, then traveled to the east coast for residency training in New York City at Maimonides Medical Center. After completing his anesthesiology residency, he decided to return home to complete his fellowship in Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Hong was selected as a ‘Top Doc’ in 2020 and named ‘Best of’ in Pain Management for 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Hong holds medical privileges and is affiliated with Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont, Texas Health Huguley Hospital, Texas Health Mansfield, Medical City Arlington, Baylor Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth.
Dr. Hong holds memberships with several local, regional, and national medical societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
