Thomas J. Hong, DO

Dr. Hong is a specialists in the field of Interventional pain management. He is ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) board certified in both Anesthesiology and pain management. He grew up in the DFW area, attending grade school, high school and college locally. He began his medical training in the San Francisco bay area for medical school at Touro University, then traveled to the east coast for residency training in New York City at Maimonides Medical Center. After completing his anesthesiology residency, he decided to return home to complete his fellowship in pain management at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Hong was selected as a ‘Top Doc’ in 2020 and named ‘Best of’ in pain management for 2019 and 2020. Dr. Hong holds medical privileges and is affiliated with Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont, Texas Health Huguley Hospital, Texas Health Mansfield, Medical City Arlington, Baylor Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth. Dr. Hong holds memberships with several local, regional, and national medical societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. William Lian, MD

William Lian, MD, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) and interventional pain management specialists. Dr. Lian became a PM&R physician because he genuinely enjoys helping patients improve their function and quality of life.

Dr. Lian attended Texas A&M University, Commerce, for his undergraduate degree. He completed his medical degree and PM&R residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, he completed additional fellowship training in Interventional pain management at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians. Through his study, Dr. Lian was awarded the Kowalske Outstanding Medical Student in PM&R Award and the Highest UTSW PM&R Resident SAE Score Award.

Dr. Lian is an expert in evaluating and conservatively managing spinal, musculoskeletal, and neuropathic (nerve-related) diagnoses. He and the Pain and Spine Specialists team are focused on finding the most appropriate, evidence-based, non-surgical treatment for each patient.

Dr. Lian enjoys working out, photography, and hiking with his wife, Sarah, when not treating patients.

Lucas Lopez, FNP

Lucas Lopez, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in pain management and family practice.

Lucas grew up in west Texas and attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Afterwards, he spent 11 years as a registered nurse, gaining valuable clinical experience in emergency medicine. Driven by his desire for advanced practice and greater autonomy in patient care, he decided to pursue his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). He graduated once again from the University of Texas – Arlington in 2019, and shortly after, obtained his certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner, he has worked in pain management, urgent care and family practice clinics, where he was responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions. He collaborates with other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care that addresses their unique healthcare needs. Lucas strives to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health. Lucas believes in listening closely to his patients, taking the time to understand their concerns, and working together to develop personalized treatment plans.

Lucas enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and watching sports when not treating patients.
